Joining Our Nursery

A very warm welcome to you and your child from all of us at Dalmain Nursery.

At Dalmain, we provide high-quality, excellent-value early years education within a warm, stimulating, and inclusive environment that supports children to grow, thrive, and build confidence. Our skilled and caring staff ensure that every child feels safe and supported, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and independence through purposeful play and a wide range of engaging experiences.

We recognise and celebrate each child’s unique qualities and work in close partnership with families to ensure a positive and seamless transition into nursery life. From building friendships to developing communication skills and nurturing a love of learning, we’re here to support your child every step of the way.

“Our daughter absolutely loves Dalmain’s Nursery. It is her favourite place! We can see what a nurturing environment the nursery is. The staff always have so much energy, and show such genuine warmth and care for each of the children, it really is heart-warming to see. As parents, we couldn’t hope for any more in a nursery and feel so happy leaving our daughter in Dalmain Nursery’s care every day.”
"When we first visited Dalmain nursery it immediately felt like a welcoming and inclusive environment in which children could explore and learn. They seem to have struck the fine balance between the freedom of creative (often messy!) child-led play and structured learning. The activities offered are stimulating, imaginative and varied daily, along with the artistic creations that come home at the end of the day! We feel that the seed of the love of reading (an ideal which permeates the whole school) is well planted in nursery. Dalmain nursery offers an holistic approach to learning, including supporting life skills and respectful behaviour as well as knowledge, making the children confident,  well-rounded individuals on their journey towards reception. And the added icing on the cake is a music lesson with Miss Jackson every week, art with Mr. Roberts and Forest School."
