We offer exceptional on-site, all-year-round wrap around care from 7:30am-6:30pm (6:00pm for Nursery children).

Nursery Children

For our youngest learners, we are pleased to partner with Acorn Club to provide a dedicated, on-site provision for Nursery children. Acorn offers a calm, caring and play-rich environment tailored to the needs of early years children. With a strong focus on routines, relationships and play-based learning, their experienced team ensures that children feel secure, confident and well supported. This provision offers a seamless transition between Nursery and wraparound care, all within the familiar and reassuring surroundings of Dalmain.

Reception - Year 6 Children

For pupils in Reception to Year 6, we work in partnership with Ballers Sports Coaching to deliver a broad and exciting programme of activities. Children have opportunities to take part in a wide range of sports, including rugby, fencing and dance, alongside creative experiences such as arts and crafts. This provision allows children to unwind, build friendships and enjoy being active and imaginative after a full day of learning. Ballers staff are highly experienced and many are already known to our community through the popular clubs and sports events they have led at Dalmain. They have established strong relationships with our pupils and are well regarded by the children.

Curriculum Clubs

We offer a wide range of Curriculum Clubs, in addition to the above wrap around care, for 10 weeks every term. Most sessions run from 3:15-4:15pm in school, although there are some variations depending on the age group and club.

Curriculum Clubs are run by members of Dalmain's Staff Team or by specialist teachers, and we circulate information at the start of each term with information about the clubs on offer and how to sign up. We endeavour to vary the clubs on offer to cater for the requests of our community and are always keen to receive suggestions for future clubs.
